Man busted over helping self to severance pay

A spurned salon employee out for revenge is probably thinking better of it after his arrest on Monday. Police said the man had been fired from the shop in the capital’s Tuol Kork district without being given a reason.

Begging his boss for another chance, he was given the not-particularly-generous offer of being able to finish out the day. Enraged, he snuck into the back room and allegedly attempted to steal a diamond ring belonging to the owner, only to be found out and arrested by police later in the day. DEUM AMPIL
