Man keeps moto, loses thumb in botched theft

A botched robbery attempt on Friday night in the capital’s Meanchey district ended in one man losing a thumb. Police said the victim, 20, was headed home with a friend when a group of men wielding knives and other weapons formed a roadblock.

The group apparently attacked the two men and tried to steal their moto, resulting in the victim’s thumb being sliced off. Police arrived on the scene and managed to arrest one suspect, though another is still at large. Koh Santepheap
