Moto owner ‘careless’ in falling for duo’s ruse

A couple of moto-washing imposters were arrested in Poipet town on Friday after allegedly stealing a customer’s moto.

The victim had taken his bike to the moto-wash, where the two suspects claimed to be employed and promised him a speedy cleaning.

As he was waiting, the two leapt onto the bike and rode it away. The establishment’s owner said the men weren’t his employees and suggested that the moto owner had been careless to be scammed so easily. Police took the men into custody two days later. KOH SANTEPHEAP
