Moto theft disrupted by shouting and beatdown

An alleged would-be moto thief was a little too slow to pull off a heist in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district on Wednesday.

According to police, the bike’s owner was at the market when the thief started trying to jimmy the bike’s ignition.

The owner spotted the suspect and raised the alarm. Helpful onlookers knocked the man to the ground and saved the moto.

Police sent the suspect to hospital to heal up before facing legal action. KOH SANTEPHEAP
