A Cambodia Daily journalist went to trial September 11, accused of defaming
Foreign Minister Hor Namhong by claiming that he helped administer a Phnom Penh
prison camp for intellectuals during Khmer Rouge rule. A decision in the case is
expected September 14. Namhong is seeking $1 million in compensation.
