The government and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) are scheduled to start a 12-day campaign today aimed at raising awareness about child labour. Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An will speak at the National Institute of Education today at an event highlighting the Kingdom’s goal of eliminating the worst forms of child labour by 2016. MP Joseph, the ILO’s chief technical adviser for the programme on the elimination of child labour, said Monday that he was confident that this goal “will be achieved”.
