Asia-Pacific forum begins in S'Pore

Heng Samrin, the president of the National Assembly, is leading a delegation of senior parliamentary officials to the 18th Annual Meeting of the Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum, according to a government press release issued Friday. The meeting, which is taking place in Singapore and is scheduled to run from January 17 to January 21, will focus on issues including politics, security, the economy and trade. Attendees will also discuss regional cooperation on issues such as climate change.
