The Sam Rainsy Party planned to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the March 30,
1997 grenade attack that killed at least 17 people and injured dozens more at the
memorial stupa opposite the National Assembly. The memorial ceremony was to be held
between 8:00 and 10:15am March 30. None of the suspected perpetrators have been arrested.
