THE Australian Government has committed US$513,000 to a United Nations
program aimed at reducing trafficking in women and children.
The
three-year program will be administered by the UN Development Program and will
involve governments from Cambodia, Laos, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam and the
Chinese provinces of Yunan and Guangxi.
