Bird flu outbreak

Tests confirmed an outbreak of the H5N1 strain of bird flu in 20 dead ducks at a farm in Kampong Cham province, about 120km north of Phnom Penh, and local authorities said on March 7 that they immediately culled over 300 ducks, and banned poultry transportation within 3km of the outbreak site.
