Bomb link rejected

Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Namhong has rejected an Australian newspaper report

that the chemicals used in the Bangkok New Year's Eve bombings originated in Cambodia,

DPA reported on January 23.

His comments came after an Australian newspaper wrote that a Thai official had said

the Jemaah Islamiah (JI) terrorist group had bought chemicals in Cambodia to make

the bombs for the explosions that killed three and injured at least 40 people.
