The Thai army has demolished four bridges on the Thai-Cambodian border in a move
against smugglers.
The bridges, at Tha Ta Mao, Tha Tada, Tha Tatho of Ban Wang Mon and Tha Ta Ma in
Kok Sabaeng, are said to be used regularly by smugglers in the area.
A Thai officer said the demolition had been agreed to by Cambodian authorities and
would leave one opening point between Poipet and Klong Luek.
