The
China-Asean Association donated a US$70,000 electronic library to the
Royal Academy of Cambodia in a ceremony on November 25, marking the
50th anniversary of relations between the two countries. Wu Tao, vice
president of the association, said the donation of the library, which
will be known as the Confucius Centre, reflected China's willingness to
improve education in Cambodia. "Education is the key to sustainable
development and the future of the country," Wu said.
