Cambodia must make further efforts to integrate people with disabilities into the country’s developing society, officials with the European Union said Monday as part of a workshop on mainstreaming disability. Michelle Labeeu, head of operations for a delegation with the European Commission, said that although Cambodia has made “remarkable” strides, mainstreaming disability must be fostered into development policies.
