In Brief: European union to fund scholarships

The European Union will fund 36 scholarships for Cambodian students and teachers to study and travel in Europe from 2009-10, EU officials in Cambodia announced Thursday. As part of the EU Erasmus Mundus scholarship programme, students from undergraduate to postdoctorate level will have the opportunity to attend universities in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain and Turkey.
