The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology on Sunday issued a second floodwater notification in two weeks to villagers living along the Mekong River. Mao Hak, the director of the ministry's hydrology and river works department, told the Post on Sunday that the water level in the upper Mekong River provinces of Stung Treng, Kratie and Kampong Cham will be higher than last year, and that flooding could be a problem.
