Suzuki Yasujiro replaced Yoneda Kazuhiro as the chief representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), a government official said Wednesday. Kazuhiro, who is returning to Japan to take up another job with JICA, headed up the Cambodia office for three years, said Eang Sophalleth, a spokesman for Prime Minister Hun Sen. Kazuhiro will take charge of JICA's industry sector and has promised to encourage Japanese investment in Cambodia, Eang Sophalleth added. Japan remains one of the Kingdom's biggest donors.
