In Brief: More voters register

Some 245,158 new voters registered in the period from October 1 to 20, bringing the official number of Cambodian voters to 8,220,590, according to a press release issued on Wednesday by the National Election Committee (NEC). During the same period, the NEC removed 150,097 people from the voter's registry either because they had moved between communes and municipalities, were listed twice or had died, NEC Secretary General Tep Nytha said in the press release.
