In Brief: Nationalist group calls for unity

The Democratic Front of Khmer Students and Intellectuals has called on the opposition to join the ruling Cambodian People's Party to foster national unity and defend Cambodia against threats from neighbouring countries. In a statement issued Monday, the group described the "second Kingdom of Cambodia under Samdech [Hun Sen]" as a "younger brother" of the Sangkum Reastr Niyum regime of King Father Norodom Sihanouk.
