In Brief: New Cambodian consulate opened

Cambodia on Sunday officially launched its honorary consulate in Lowell, Massachusetts, an event presided over by Foreign Affairs Minister Hor Namhong. Koy Kuong, spokesman for the Foreign Affairs Ministry, said Ou Sovann, a Sam Rainsy Party defector to the ruling party, was appointed as the honorary consul, adding that the new facility would provide services to the UScity's large Cambodian expatriate community.
