In Brief: Next drug burn planned for b'bang

After holding a large drug-burning ceremony last week in Phnom Penh's Sen Sok district, officials from the National Anti-Drug Authority (NADA) plan to hold a similar event next month in Battambang province, where they will destroy nearly 20 tonnes of drugs. The event is meant "to demonstrate the political will of national authorities to crack down on these offences", said Meas Vyrith, director of Interior Ministry's drug lab.
