In Brief: Noun Chea to be detained longer

Khmer Rouge leader Noun Chea's detention has been extended by another year as the investigation into his activities during the regime continues. "It states that in the Internal Rules, if after a year the investigation is not done, it has to be extended one more year," his lawyer Son Arun said Sunday. Noun Chea, now 82 years old, is the most senior regime leader currently in detention.
