The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries today is to conclude a two-day meeting with its Vietnamese counterpart on animal health. Titled “Second bilateral meeting on animal health cooperation between the Kingdom of Cambodia and Vietnam”, it aims to improve cooperation on animal health development, trade practices and disease control. Kao Phal, director of the ministry’s Animal Health and Production Department, said: “New livestock trading practices will benefit the majority of people in rural areas, as it will reduce the loss of livestock caused by an outbreak” of disease.
