In Brief: Sihanoukville to host security operations

The seventh ASEAN/Japan Maritime Security Joint Exercise is set to be held in Sihanoukville on Tuesday, officials said. Anti-terrorism units, military police and health officials from Cambodia as well as observers from ASEAN member countries will participate in the event. “This exercise is about fighting against terrorists and saving people from dangerous situations at seaports. It will help us to learn and solve problems of piracy, abductions and explosives,” said Tak Vantha, Preah Sihanouk provincial police chief.
