Sam Rainsy Party lawmaker Son Chhay sent a letter Thursday to National
Assembly President Heng Samrin, calling on Deputy Prime Minister Sok
An, who is also the chairman of the Apsara Authority, to answer
concerns about the revenue gathered from admissions to Angkor Wat. "We
are very concerned and need the government to explain these problems to
us," Son Chhay said, saying the authority used Angkor Wat "as its
business rather than for conservation".
