Thailand reopened a
national park Tuesday that has been closed since tensions broke out
between Cambodia last July. Phra Viharn National Park, which is located
in Si Sa Ket and borders Cambodia's Preah Vihear province, will now
allow tourists to enter in and out. Koy Kuong, an undersecretary of
state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the opening of the
national park would not have an effect on the decision to open the
currently closed Preah Vihear border gate between the two countries.
