The United Kingdom's Department for International Development (DFID) launched the British government's Third White Paper on Development on September 19. DFID Director-General Mark Lowcock said Britain would provide Cambodia with $75 million in aid over the next five years. DFID's work in Cambodia will focus on improving aid effectiveness, helping the country achieve its Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and improving natural resource management.
