A four-day national conference of Buddhist monks will be held in Phnom Penh from

July 10. The King and Queen have donated US$10,000 towards the cost of staging the

event, the eighth annual conference. Palace Minister Kong Sam Ol handed over the

gift to the heads of the two Buddist sects, Tep Vong and Bou Kry, last week.
