C ambodia and Burma are to establish direct air links between their capitals
and open respective tourism offices , according to an Oct 17 Reuters report.
Flights would begin as soon as details were worked out, said Pok Samel, Cambodia's
secretary of state for civil aviation who signed the agreement with Burmese Transport
Minister, Thein Win. The five year pact states that Cambodia and Burma will establish
tourism offices in each nation, and arrange individual and group tours and cultural
exchanges.
