North Korea’s state-run news agency reported on Monday that a commemorative event was held from March 28 to April 1 in Cambodia to celebrate the birthday of former president Kim Il Sung on April 15, an occasion referred to by North Koreans as The Day of Sun. According to reports, Kong Som Ol, minister of the Royal Palace of Cambodia, expressed a belief that the “friendly relations” between the two countries would continue to flourish.
