Canadian tourist found dead in hotel room

A Canadian tourist was found dead in his room at the Big Luck hotel on Saturday in Phnom Penh’s Prampi Makara district. Police officer Sok Touch said yesterday that 34-year-old Marco Fok, who had only been in the Kingdom since September 11, died due to conditions related to the over consumption of alcohol. “He had a liver disease and stomach disease, which was caused from drinking so much beer,” he said. His body is being held at the Calmette Hospital and will be shipped to his family pending funeral arrangements.
