A ceremony was held October 5 marking the completion of Chinese-funded development

at the Senate building in Phnom Penh. Among the additions were a library and office

buildings. Chea Sim, Senate President, said the gift was proof of "the most

precious and great ties of friendship and solidarity which [cannot] be estimated".
