Thai authorities seized 50,000 packs of counterfeit cigarettes believed to have been

produced in Cambodia, the Bangkok Post reported on June 5. A Thai excise department

official said the cigarettes, packaged as Thailand's Krongthip brand, were probably

produced in Cambodian factories with the assistance of Thai businessmen.
