CITA appeals to PM

The Cambodia Independent Teachers’ Association Rong Chhun has urged the government to provide teachers with an additional 20,000 riels (US$5) per month to compensate for a rise in living expenses in a letter dated March 7 and addressed to Prime Minister Hun Sen. Lim Leang Se, deputy chief of the premier’s cabinet, said yesterday his office had not yet received the letter.
