NINETY-NINE families from Pi Thanou commune in Kratie province’s Snuol district yesterday sent a letter to the district governor requesting the release of two villagers arrested on Saturday for clearing forest as they farmed their own land. Lim Sothy, 38, and Man Sakei, 24, are both being detained at the provincial police station.
