Phnom Penh's Serei Pheap market in the Prampi Makara district was plunged into darkness at 5:30pm on Wednesday, with vendors claiming the power cut stems from the market management's attempts to evict them. They say market chief Lim Kimpheng ordered his staff to cut the power supply to the market's 200 vendors. The market's management and vendors are locked in dispute over the future of the market.
