Labourers coerced by the Khmer Rouge regime work to construct the Pram mouy Makara dam in Kampong Thom province’s Santuk district. Roughly 500 Santuk residents staged a protest on Tuesday to decry the dam’s 2009 closure, claiming it has led to flooding of their farmland.
