Corruption investigated

THE Ministry of Education is still investigating allegations of widespread cheating and corruption during this week’s national exams, Ou Eng, director general of the general department of education, said yesterday. One teacher, speaking on condition of anonymity, said yesterday that corruption occurred at nearly every exam centre. “If teachers have a sufficient salary, they would not act like this,” the teacher said.
