The Sam Rainsy Party has accused the ruling Cambodia People’s Party of trying to buy two of its activists in Kandal province’s Punhealeu district.

It said both activists declined to join the CPP for cash and accused the CPP of trying to prevent it from gaining ground in the province. Council of Ministers spokesman Phay Siphan said the CPP does not buy members from other parties.
