Dating denunciation

The government has released statements condemning a new dating agency launched in

Cambodia in January, suggesting it might lead to fake marriages and boost the country's

sex trade.

Almost 100 Cambodian men and women have signed up for the service, the statements

said, but the Ministry of Women's Affairs says the agency contradicts traditional

Khmer culture and it is not yet time for Cambodia to have such a service.
