Demining funding

The US ambassador to Cambodia, Kent Wiedemann presented a cheque on September 14

for $2.58 million to groups working on demining.

A US embassy statement said the grant demonstrated the commitment the US has to supporting

demining organizations in Cambodia. The money will be allocated to: the Cambodian

Mine Action Center (CMAC), Hazardous Life Support Organization (HALO Trust), Mine

Advisory Group (MAG), Handicap International (HI) and Care International.
