Dengue campaign

A campaign to boost awareness of dengue fever was launched in Phnom Penh yesterday as localised outbreaks of the virus continued. Nima Asgari, public health specialist at the World Health Organisation, said that outbreaks in several provinces, including Kampong Thom, Prey Veng and Ratanakkiri, had “pushed up” the rate of infection. “What we’re not seeing at the moment is a generalised increase,” he said.
