DPRK supports Cambodia

The Democratic  People's Republic of Korea has expressed support for Cambodia's

request for non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council from 2013-14.

Rin In Sok, DPRK ambassador to Cambodia, announced DPRK's support in a meeting

with Hor Nam Hong, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign

Affairs and International Cooperation. According to local media, Foreign

Ministry spokesperson Ros Simara said both countries had long held good

relations and Cambodia supported the six-party talks for the peaceful

reconciliation of the Korean Peninsula.
