Drop in mine casualties

The latest data released by Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority shows land mine casualties have decreased by 36 per cent compared to the same period last year. Casualties totalled 119 for the first seven months of the year, compared to 186 casualties in the same period of 2010. Of this year’s casualties, 27 were killed and 92 were injured.
