Police arrested five men on August 20 in relation to a massive heroin haul seized in Australia in April. The heroin, worth $14.5 million, was concealed in a shipment of fish paste exported from Cambodia. Cao Vanlan, the alleged leader, is an Australian citizen, while three of the men worked at the Techinex company in Phnom Penh. The fifth was suspected of procuring the fish paste in Sihanoukville. The men will remain in Prey Sar prison while the judge finishes his investigation.
