Drug bust in Sihanoukville

Preah Sihanouk provincial military police arrested a Frenchman and a Norwegian at a rental house in Sihanoukville on Saturday with more than 10 kilos of meth and a substantial quantity of other unidentified drugs, military police said yesterday.

Koe Sophal, deputy provincial military police chief, said that Norwegian Jos Corner, 56, and Frenchman Roman Rovaki, 29, were still awaiting official charges.

He added that the pair were sent to court yesterday for questioning by prosecutors, and will likely be charged today. The suspects could not be reached for comment.
