Duck smuggler nabbed

A pack of wild animals, including water ducks, tortoises, snakes and wild lizards, were seized on Friday in Takeo province’s Tram Kak district, police said yesterday.

San Sayern, provincial director of the forestry administration, said the suspect was arrested en route to Vietnam, where he intended to traffic the animals.

The animals have since been sent to Tamao Zoo.
