A three-year nationwide project to educate more than 500 farmers about agricultural practices concluded on Tuesday. It was funded by the EU and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation at a total cost of US$585,840. Participants learned about rice-cultivation techniques and community management practices. Kok Tha, project coordinator for the Cambodian Centre for Study and Development in Agriculture, said the attendees would share their knowledge with others in their communities.
