Ahigh-level delegation from the EU will meet its Cambodian counterparts on May 3-4
for the inaugural meeting of the European Union-Cambodia Joint Commission.
An EU statement said the project aimed to boost cooperation between the two parties
and would feature discussion on political, trade and social issues.
Ambassador-Head of the Delegation of the commission, Michael Caillouet, said the
agreement "marked a significant step forward in EU-Cambodia relations by placing
them on a long-term contractual basis".
