Phnom Penh health officials will deploy forces to inspect non-registered pharmacies in order to prevent the trafficking of fake medicines, director of the city’s health department Sok Sokun said yesterday. Yim Yann, honorary president of the Pharmacists’ Association of Cambodia, added that officials should also close such pharmacies in a bid to reduce the problem of counterfeit drugs.
